Future naval forces-littoral to expeditionary in Copenhagen, April 8-9, 2003
Article Abstract:
The Oslo based Scandic Event forum had invited the naval community to attend the conference in order to tackle the predominant issues of naval operations in the littorals and in expeditionary tasks. At the conference, Per Silmie chairman of the forum stated that the primary role of western navies has changed from territorial defense operations in their own regional littorals to global, international operations.
