Jordan trials Swiss add-on armor suite
Article Abstract:
Elements of an add-on armor suite under development by Switzerland's RUAG Land Systems in conjunction with Jordan's King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB) are successfully demonstrated on the turret of an M60A3 tank supplied by the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF). The program objective was to demonstrate that the armor packs would provide full protection to the crew by preventing any residual penetration into the fighting compartment of the armored vehicle.
