Kidnapping trends: Examining patterns from Europe to Asia
Article Abstract:
The kidnapping trends found in Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Asia are examined. It is concluded that Iraq and the Palestinian Territories are worst afflicted by kidnappings in the Middle East and Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Iraq, the Palestinian Territories and Algeria are likely to sustain high levels of kidnappings throughout 2007.
