LCS-I: 'I' stands for Israel and International
Article Abstract:
Littoral Combat Ship specially designed for Israel (LCS-I) is being offered in the international market along with a joint package of Israeli made combat systems by Israel Navy, at a unit production cost of USD300 million, excluding the combat systems. The LCS will be mounted by four-face phased array multifunction radar with a new topside structure and also, the installation of MK 41 vertical launch system, which is not compatible with USN (US Navy) vessel.
