Article Abstract:
Several guidelines by two very experienced and competent Marine combat warriors to be followed by all infantry troop commanders to position oneself to control and maneuver marines are presented. During the first 8 months of 2005 the Marine Corps lost 15 lieutenants killed in action (KIA) in Iraq and many of the losses were the result of unnecessary exposure to personal danger.
