Litening Strikes in Australia
Article Abstract:
The Litening AT is a target-designation and navigation pod that features a laser spot tracker, forward looking IR (FLIR) sensor, CCD TV camera, and others. The Australian Department of Defense has chosen Northrop Grumman (Rolling Meadows, IL) Litening AT pod to equip F/A-18A+ Hornets of the Royal Australian Air Force.
