Corps combat assessment team cities need for speed in Iraq
Article Abstract:
The U.S. Army War College's Strategic Studies Institute released a report that downgraded the importance of speed in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The report reveal that tactical speed in Operation Iraqi Freedom was far less important than other factors, and concluded that victory on the battlefield was attributable, in large part, to the technology advantages enjoyed by U.S. forces and the Iraqi's poor leadership and equipment.

Marines will focus on information in future 'Net Enabled' battlefield
Article Abstract:
The term 'net enabled' also referred as 'network centric' suggests that the network is in the spotlight and not the units or the people it serves. A net enabled concept supports the non-linear uncertainty found on most battlefields and in the war on terrorism where the situation is fluid and the tempo of operation intense.
