The US Commission on National Security/21st Century, chaired by former senators Gary Hart and Warren Rudman, has issued a number of security recommendations. Among the recommendtions is the changing to a force size based on actual trends and intelligence.

Stress and pain in Iraq: 'My guys... all shot up'

The stress and pain experienced by the United States soldiers during the ambushes that took place in Sadr City, which is considered as the poorest and filthiest section of Baghdad is recounted. This incident known as Black Sunday resulted in many casualties.

Few people, small boats, big effort
Article Abstract:
A handful of Army National Guard Special Forces soldiers rushed to New Orleans and coordinated their efforts with local officials to evacuate thousands of people from stricken city. The New Orleans Special Forces task force was primarily composed of boat teams from the 19th Special Forces Group, and 20th Special Forces Group, Florida, Alabama and Mississippi Army National Guard.
