Night attack on Hill 163
Article Abstract:
The Marine Corps needs critical training backed up by an infrastructure that motivates and values night operations to improve its infantry night fighting capability. While the Corps has the most advanced equipment, few leaders know these equipment and few training resources as well as up-to- date manuals are available. In addition, the whole Corps operates on a daytime work schedule. By addressing these issues, the Corps could produced the best-trained and most capable night fighting infantry in the world.

The strength of the wolf is the pack
Article Abstract:
The unit cohesion, which is cost-effective, has proved to be the most effective way for building highly capable infantry units. The cohesion is very important because the cohesive units fight better, communicate better, train to higher standards, suffer fewer battle causalities, do not fracture under stress, provide high quality of life and require less administrative support.
