Communications gap hampers relations between Congress, Navy
Article Abstract:
The communications gap between the United States Navy and Congress appears to be widening each day, as the Navy is moving towards a time where it needs different kinds of small ships in great numbers and Congress is not ready for this. Senators from states with large but struggling shipyards, on the other hand, are pushing for increased shipbuilding activity.

Short-range tactical missiles

AGM-85 Maverick, AGM-88 HARM/AARGM, AGM-114 Hellfire, MGM-71 TOW, AGM-119B Penguin, AGM-122 Sidearm are the short-range tactical missiles present in the United States Navy. AGM-85 Maverick is one of the air-to-surface tactical missile used for the destruction of Iraq's military force during the Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003.
