Naval gun simulators - a sound investment
Article Abstract:
The importance of a well-trained gunnery crew is the best argument for maintaining a top-of-the-line naval gun simulator. The success of air attacks against naval targets, as exemplified during the Falklands War and in World War II, is an indication of the necessity of training gunnery crews to respond effectively againsts threats coming from the air. Some of the companies with naval gun simulators available in the market include AAI, Signaal, Saab Technologies, Kongsberg and MacDonald Dettwiler.

Synthetic mission planning and ground attack
Article Abstract:
The capabilities of full flight simulators have increased considerably since their initial introduction as key elements in the training of pilots. Advances in the field of software design has also enabled the development of flight simulators that closely mimics the actual performance of the plane in flight. This has invested modern-day pilots with more confidence in a new aircraft compared to their predecessors.
