Article Abstract:
Navies increasingly rely on computer links to tie their ships and aircraft together, and to distinct sources of information, such as national and international command and control centers in the new era of network-centric warfare. Three crucial issues of links, which play an important role in maintaining the tactical pictures which ships and, increasingly, aircraft use as the basis for their operations, are discussed.

Homeland defense- what can we do to protect our coasts and harbors?
Article Abstract:
A brief description on how to assess the terrorist's aim and protect our coast and harbor by their attacks is presented. It is suggested that the US Coast Guard must monitor and notify any ship approaching a US port, as they are the most likely means of moving material and terrorist.
