Two views of reconstruction
Article Abstract:
The efforts taken by the United States' soldiers to resurrect the faltering infrastructure of Sadr City are described. The US soldiers tried to build the city's infrastructure during the day and fight the band of insurgents at night, thus putting in efforts to protect and resurrect the crippled infrastructure.

Soldiers conducted preventive security and stabilization missions in Baghdad in April 2004 as tensions rose in the weeks leading up to major attacks against American forces in the capital. The experiences of the Company A, 2nd Battalion 12th Cavalry Regiment (A/2-12 Cavalry) team while in Iraq is described.
