UK RAF reveals RADEOS standoff sensor

The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) witnessed the unheralded public debut of the UK Royal Air Force's (RAF) electro-optic long-range oblique photographic capability, known as the Rapid Deployable Electro Optical System (RADEOS). Experts reveal that RADEOS, designed for pinpoint target imagery could be used at lower levels provided that velocity over range limits were not exceeded.

World tour will define T-6B configuration
Article Abstract:
The T-6B, an enhanced T-6A Texan II trainer that was selected as the US Joint Primary Aircraft Training System (JPATS), was demonstrated to all bidders for the UK's Military Flying Training System (MFTS) as well as Royal Air force Pilots. The T-6B is currently on a world tour after which the company expects to be able to define the baseline configuration by the end of 2005.
