U.S.-India nuclear deal: Regional security implications for Asia
Article Abstract:
The implications of the proposed nuclear co-operation agreement between U.S. and India on the regional security and the nuclear non-proliferation regime are examined. The concerns about proliferation have taken a backseat as U.S. is planning to build a strategic relationship with India and this deal might weaken the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
