DDG 91 to deploy new LM EW system
Article Abstract:
The Arleigh Burke-class Aegis guided-missile destroyer Pinckney is set to introduce the new SLY-2 Advanced Integrated Electronic Warfare System. The SLY-2 has been designed to replace the LSQ-32 electronic warfare system which have been used by the Navy's surface combatants for more than twenty years. The new system will be retrofitted on 174 older ships. It was manufactured by Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems.

Raytheon's CEC systems package passes Navy operational evaluation
Article Abstract:
The Raytheon Cooperative Engagement Capability shipboard systems network radar measurements in real time, extending the range and lowering the elevation of anti-aircraft tracking to include cruise missiles. Raytheon will make 160 systems in the coming years.
