USMC leads, Army follows on electronic attack
Article Abstract:
The US Marine Corps (USMC) and Army will be receiving Rubicon II jammers from Rockwell Collins for their electronic attack capability. The Marine Corps under its Communications Emitter Sensing and Attack Systems (CESAS) and Mobile Electronic Warfare Support System (MEWSS) programs is taking up the AN/USQ-146 Rubicon II jammers.

The United States army plans to provide a contract to BAE Systems (Nashua, NH), the developer and producer of the AN/AAR-57 CMWS. The contract contains the procurement of more than 2,000 (CMWSs), valued at $1.4 billion.
