The book 'Art of War: Eyewitness U.S. Combat Art from the Revolution Through the Twentieth Century' written by Colonel H. Avery Chenoweth is reviewed. The book pays tribute to the artists who recorded various actions of the U.S. military covering incidents such as the Boston massacre and the Kandahar hijacking and includes eyewitness accounts from soldiers as well as paintings of professional artists.
