Watervliet Arsenal modifies MRAAS in order to support RAVEN low-recoil gun
Article Abstract:
Watervliet Arsenal is fabricating a unique low-recoil gun using elements of the 105 mm Multi-Role Armament and Ammunition System (MRAAS) weapon, complete with swing-chamber loading system. The weapon operates on rarefaction wave gun, principle (RAVEN) and its performance objectives are to reduce recoil loads, thermal loads and the cannon system weight considerably, while maintaining projectile velocity and producing minimal back-blast effects.

India's Bharat outlines artillery command system specifications

India's Bharat Electronics, in cooperation with ARDE of Pune, CAIR of Bangalore, and Elbit of Israel, is developing an Artillery Combat Command and Control System (ACCCS). Bharat Electronics has revealed details of the ACCCS, which is a subsystem of command, control, communications and intelligence (C3I) systems being fielded in the Indian Army to automate all the operational functions of artillery.
