ATB Financial profit climbs on loan recovery

Edmonton, Alb.-based ATB Financial has reported that its profits rose 26% following a loan package recovery of $45 million. ATB, which is a leading financial institution, reported a profit of $198.9 million for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2003.
