Hong Kong businessman Victor Li is threatening to walk away from his proposed $650-million investment in Air Canada if a judge overseeing the airline's restructuring reopens the bidding to allow a competing offer from New York investment fund Cerberus Capital Management LP. The warning is issued in a letter to a court-appointed monitor from John Evans, a Toronto lawyer representing Trinity Time Investment Ltd., a holding company controlled by Li.
