Air Canada's loss for the third quarter cut to $81-million

Montreal-based airline, Air Canada's third-quarter loss in 2004 narrowed to $81-million. The airline has expressed confidence that it would be able to stage a financial comeback and post a full-year profit in 2005 as the airline suffered from reduced passenger loads after war in Iraq and SARS outbreak in 2003.
