Bass family group buys 6% of Nova
Article Abstract:
Nova Corp., a manufacturer of chemical products headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, has sold a 6% interest in the company to TMI-FW Inc., an investment firm, for an undisclosed amount. The purchase will allow the investment company, which is owned by the Bass family of Texas and the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan Board, to enhance its holdings in Nova to 5,505,502 shares of Nova stock. The chemical products firm, however, has expressed optimism that TMI-FW's increased interests in the company will not lead to significant modifications in leadership and operations.
