Peace talks between Bosnian Muslim leader Alija Izetbegovic, Serbia's Slobodan Milosevich, and Croatia's Franjo Tudjman began in Dayton, OH in Nov 1995. Mediator Richard Holbrooke is cautiously optimistic about the prospects for a negotiated settlement to the civil war in the former Yugoslavia.
