The craze for custom bicycles started in Los Angeles's beach suburbs during the 1960s and has been adopted by rappers in the 21st century. In Australia, custom bicycles are still very much on the fringe, but interest is increasing and there are a large range of lowriders, cruisers and choppers available off the rack from most good bike shops and his customers are mostly teenagers.
