An exploration of allergies that affect children is presented with focus on anaphylaxis, which is an allergic reaction to everyday food. Dr. Alyson Kakakios, head of the department of allergy, immunology and infectious disease at the Children's Hospital at Sydney's Westmead, revealed that the number of admissions for food-related anaphylaxis has increased and so have the cases of allergic asthma.

The availability of an ambulance equipped with a defibrillator in the near vicinity when Kerry Packer suffered a heart attack during the 1990 Australian Polo Open that saved his life is presented. As a gesture of appreciation he offered NSW Premier Nick Greiner to match state funds to install defibrillators in all NSW ambulances.
