CBIC boss says banks must balance people, technology

The chairman of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, John Hunkin, told a board of trade meeting that banks have lost sight of the human element while embracing technology. The bank, third largest in Canada, is implementing a pilot program in Toronto to improve customer relations.
