Canadian plans no ad campaign amid turbulence at firm

Financially strapped Canadian Airlines International Ltd said that it will continue with its current advertising campaign and marketing promotions. The airline has adopted the business-as-uusal strategy amidst worries that customers will stay away because of the impact of its cash-strapped status on their flights and airline points. Canadian Airlines is expected to enter into talks with rival carriers following the temporary suspension of anti-trust laws by the federal government.

Clearnet amends commercial after complaint by gas firms
Article Abstract:
Toronto, Ont.-based Clearnet Communications Inc. has altered a television advertisment that depicts a man falling from a building. The ad, which was criticized for making gas products seem to be dangerous, was reissued after a phrase describing gas stoves as dangerous was removed.
