Article Abstract:
A few hardy surfers enjoy hitting the waves off Lawrencetown Beach, Nova Scotia during winter. They are willing to brave subzero conditions and ice chunks for the excitement and solitude it provides. Sea Kayakers, windsurfers and scuba divers also practice their sports during winter.
