Newspapers prepare for slower growth in ad sales
Article Abstract:
Newspaper companies' share prices have dropped due to a combination of anticipated softer advertising revenue and higher newsprint prices. Go won't offer free Internet access
Article Abstract:
Go Network does not plan to follow other major Internet access providers in giving free Internet access. The main reason, according to Go Network Pres Steve Wadsworth, is that free service will not attract higher-income Internet shoppers or surfers. A study shows that free access users are usually younger, less affluent and spend less hours on the Internet than traditional users.
