Charest's wind power plan a bit of hot air
Article Abstract:
According to the Premier of Quebec Jean Charest's energy strategy, the government has released tenders asking energy companies, like the Hydro-Quebec, to purchase wind power from independent suppliers for meeting the province's rising electricity demands. The feasibility of this policy, which is based on something as unrelialble wind energy, is discussed.
