Cinram stakes future on DVDs: Product popularity and U.S. interest fuel firm's growth
Article Abstract:
Toronto-based Cinram International Inc., a DVD and CD manufacturer and distributor had a 25% year-over-year volume growth in its DVD business in November 2003. Management and analysts agree that Cinram's fate depends on the continued popularity of the DVD format and the company expects DVD volume gains will offset any potential earnings decline as a result of aggressive retail pricing.
