Crude surges on surprise OPEC cut
Article Abstract:
OPEC's surprise move, undertaken on 10 February 2004, to cut its quotas in the face of tight US oil inventories sent crude prices rolling and drew a warning from the White House that the cartel should not take any action to deflate economic growth. OPEC stated that it would cut quotas by one million barrels a day from April 2004.

Prairie grain headed for rebound
Article Abstract:
The Canadian Wheat Board said that Prairie barley and wheat crops are moving towards a major rebound. The board is attributing the forecast to several late-spring blizzards which have ended a two-year drought in the Prairies.
