Dark secret
Article Abstract:
Scientists are often unable to explain the driving force behind the universe's continued expansion at faster and faster rates, and sometimes chalk it up to what they call dark energy. A team of scientists from the University of Queensland, the University of New South Wales, Swinburne, Caltech, and several other institutions are working at identifying exactly what dark energy is and how it may be measured.

Article Abstract:
Last week a NSW State Rail Tangara commuter train crashed near Waterfall, which is located south of Sydney. The investigation will be complicated by the fact that the train's black box recorder was not working and by the death of the driver. Computer simulations will be used in the investigation.

The NSW's sole criminal profiler, Det Sgt Kris Illingsworth says that the look at the offender and the victim along its behavior can draw the major personality and behavioral characteristics of the offender. NSW police rely entirely on Illingsworth for profiling.
