Compac sees weak results this quarter

The Compaq Computer Corp. has revised its fourth-quarter sales and profits figures to be lower than originally anticipated. The company says it now expects sales figures to be $11.2-11.4 billion and its continuing-operations profit to be 28-30 cents a share, rather than the forecast figure of 36 cents a share.
