Airport grid-lock
Article Abstract:
Airport conditions throughout the US are expected to worsen. Air travelers are being subjected to crowded flights, flight delays, overcrowded parking lots and long lines at ticket counters, restaurants and toilets. Travel experts had predicted that the rapid growth in air travel would result in too many passengers that would overburden airports, runways and air traffic control. While airports are planning major expansions and the implemenation of new air traffic control systems, conditions are expected to worsen during the next several years.
