Endangered Species Act: Reform proposals
Article Abstract:
The reformed proposal that critical habitat needs to be designated for most listed species in areas where they are found, is highlighted. However, critical-habitat designation may be deferred for up to a year, when the agency lacks sufficient data, or indefinitely if the agency fears the designation may encourage vandals or collectors.
