Tony Altilia is the president of Vickers and Benson Advertising Ltd, a Canadian advertising agency. The former international account director of Chicago, IL-based Leo Burnett Company Inc manages a unique schedule where he stays with his parents in Toronto on weekdays and sees his family in Chicago on weekends. Altilia is expected to redirect the declining fortunes and performance of Vickers and Benson, which has limited major accounts in the Bank of Montreal, the Canadian Tourism Commission and McDonald's Restaurants of Canada.

Canadian advertiser named agency of year

Roche Macaulay and Partners Advertising Inc of Toronto, Canada, has been named as international ad agency of the year by Advertising Age International magazine. The agency has been cited for its biting creative style for various multinational clients such as Reebok Canada, Mercedes-Benz Canada and Ikea Germany. Roche Macaulay is the first Canadian ad agency to win the award since 1990.
