Farewell to fair thinking?
Article Abstract:
Hugh White, head of The Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), will be quitting his job for further studies and a worldwide hunt is on to find a replacement to fill his huge boots. The ASPI has occasionally criticized the government's policies, but it has always helped the government with material, which is of great value, and with White moving away many fear that the ASPI will loose its objectivity.

United Nations peacekeeper Chris Albers' life changed irrevocably in 1993 after he saw a Cambodian policeman deliberately shoot a little girl in the head. Albers lost his family and his job, suffers from chronic post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and is fighting for an appropriate pension and compensation from the Australian military.
