GM revs up hot incentive war

General Motors of Canada Ltd. has joined DaimlerChrsyler Canada Inc. and Ford Motor Company of Canada Ltd. in offering no-interest loan financing on most vehicles. The three auto companies are following the lead of the United States auto makers which offered no-interest loans and had their best sales month in October.

The World Trade Organization has successfully lobbied Canada's government to nullify an historic auto makers agreement. The trade agreement was made between DaimlerChrysler Canada Ltd., Ford Motor Co. of Canada Ltd. and General Motors of Canada Ltd.
