Article Abstract:
Cervical cancer is a major life-threatening disease for women globally, and the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine could greatly benefit women in developing countries. However, the high cost and storage requirements of the vaccine might not enable maximum impact, and hence alternate forms of the vaccine and independent production in some countries are being considered to overcome the problem.
