The famous international auction house Christie's has left Australia, leaving the field open for two major players, Sotheby's and Deutscher Menzies. Sotheby's is a global auction house while Deutscher Menzies is local and bought stiff competition to auction market when it started business and it is believed that these houses would take Australian art forward by achieving serious prices in this field.

Waiting to exhale
Article Abstract:
Smoking is banned in many public places in America and Australia thanks largely to the anti-smoking campaigns but Europe seems to be the exception with it being a puffer's heaven. The Germans, French and Italians seem to be indulging in smoking with no consideration for the non smokers.

A group of concerned Texans is agitating to have the Dutch Oven, which is three-legged iron cooking pot, declared as the official cooking utensil of Texas. The Dutch Oven originated in England and was brought to the United States by Dutch traders, thereby acquiring the name Dutch Oven.
