He does it again: Saddam provokes another crisis, this time over poison tests on humans
Article Abstract:
Saddam Hussein has again sent the United Nations multinational weapons inspectors packing, alleging that US inspector Scott Ritter is a spy. Hussein also denied that biological and chemical weapons had been tested on human subjects, despite denying the UN team permission to examine a suspicious trench at Salman Pak. Neither the UN nor the US's putative allies seem to have the will to continue to confront Iraq on the issue.
