Gulf Canada Resources Chmn Earl Joudrie was found shot in the back in the Calgary home he once shared with wife Dorothy on Jan 21, 1995. Earl Joudrie survived the shooting, and Dorothy Joudrie has been charged with attempted murder. The pair are in the midst of divorce proceedings.

Walker has been accused of murdering businessman Ronald Joseph Platt. After bilking investors of millions, Walker allegedly fled Canada with his 15-year-old daughter, Sheena, and assumed Platt's identity in England. The father and daughter had been living as a married couple.
