Hollinger directors to come under fire

Many of the Hollinger International Inc. directors would come under strong criticism from the special committee of the firm's board when it would release its report that would reveal the alleged wrongdoing among company executives. The special committee's report, which is more than 400 pages, would be filed with a Chicago court and the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Chicago paper overstated its circulation

Hollinger International Inc. states that the Chicago Sun-Times overstated circulation figures, the latest scandal to hit the Hollinger International Group of newspapers. Hollinger's audit committee is conducting an internal review into 'practices that resulted in the overstatement of circulation figures' at the Sun-Times over the past several years.
