Hollinger sells CanWest notes

New York, NY-based Credit Suisse First Boston has bought Winnipeg, Man.-based CanWest Global Communications Corp.'s senior notes valued at $116.6 million from Toronto, Ont.-based Hollinger Inc. Hollinger, which bought the debt in November 2000, will use the revenue for paying down its own debt.

CanWest snaps up TV library
