Article Abstract:
Ford Motor Corp has unveiled the Lincoln MK 9 at the New York auto show. Although it is unlikely to be produced, it is meant to telegraph styling elements Lincoln will use in the succeeding years as it goes through the identity crisis that has afflicted it and rival Cadillac. Lincoln design boss Gerry McGovern hopes to pilfer the best elements of Lincoln's look from the 1950s and the 1960s to recreate the brand as purely, strongly, traditionally American luxury.
