Rae, 27, is suing a former teacher, David Salter; a public school vice principal; and a county board of education for damages he sustained as a victim of sexual abuse, sustained at age 8. The case could set a precedent, opening others, in addition to the perpetrator, to damage actions.

The prospect of evil

Ethicists tend to agree that there is no morally justifiable reason to clone human beings. However, since the technology exists, many are concerned that human cloning will occur. Laws banning human cloning are under consideration in both Canada and the US.
