Manulife chief lashes out at 'onerous' governance

Dominic D'Alessandro, head of Manulife Financial Corp. is of the opinion that the new disclosure rules are becoming difficult to comply with and the concept of corporate governance may have been carried too far. D'Alessandro was talking about the provisions under the United States' Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Manulife has recorded and 88% growth in its profits.
