Article Abstract:

The congressional democrats who are in the minority in both the house and the senate have introduced several bills that aimed at ensuring that the pharmacies provided ready access to birth control and emergency contraception as well as measures to expand access to birth control. It was therefore concluded that, this measure would limit the demand for abortions and many democrats would gain support from their anti abortions leading to an increase in the political respectability of the measures to expand contraceptive access.
